Founded during the Gold Rush. Has large outdoor pool and indoor private pools for a maximum of 4 persons (no reservations taken). Onsite restaurant. Since 1849 the Carson Hot Springs has provided water therapy and spa treatments using enriched water with over nine healthful minerals. The water flows out of the ground at 121 degrees and comes from depths of 35,000 feet below the earth’s surface.
Nine small private pools (“private tub rooms”) are available on a first come first serve basis. Bring your own towel. They have towels and rent them for $2. Towels may not always be available. Lockers are provided. Bring your own lock or they can sell you a lock for $2.

Note: We are planning on enjoying these hot springs on our the day trip to Carson City. Our trip is dependent on pooled cars

1862 David Walley’s Hot Spring features five mineral hot springs. Each is fed by heated geothermal groundwater produced naturally from the earth’s mantle. Their swimming pool is warmed with geothermal water and chemically treated for safety.
The hot springs soaking tubs, sauna, steam room, locker rooms, and outdoor pool are open. All are included in the day fee.
Day fee: $55 per person
Towel rental fee: $5 (OK to bring your own, no fee)

Geothermal mineral water directly from the ground to soaking tubs. The only volcanic natural hot springs in the area.
