The following is general information about lift tickets for skiing in South Lake Tahoe area during the winter of 2022
This information was taken from the Epic Pass website, and a visit to the Heavenly Resort ticket office in South Lake Tahoe.
Guideline as per Heavenly Resort ticket office, at the base of the Gondola, South Lake Tahoe:
“If you consider skiing more than three days, consider a season pass,” such as an Epic Pass.

Alpine Ski Lift Access Options
I. If you plan to alpine ski any of the three EPIC resorts near Lake Tahoe, California (Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar), then you could buy skiing access via either a day lift ticket or an EPIC pass online for single day, multiple days, or entire season subject to restrictions.

If you plan to ski at least five days and not at other EPIC resorts, then a Tahoe Value Pass or a five day Epic pass might be most cost effective.
II. EPIC Pass Benefits (Adding Value)
A. Buddy Tickets or Ski with a Friend Discounts

B. Epic Coverage
Any pass provides for a refund:
1) if you have an eligible injury, job loss, or experience other personal events that prevent you from using your pass.
